Hello there! My name is Samriddha Basu, but most people just call me Sam. I am a Researcher at the Department of Computer Science, National University of Singapore (NUS), working on projects involving AI and LLMs. Previously I worked with the Asian Institute of Digital Finance, a university-level institute in NUS, jointly founded by The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the National Research Foundation (NRF) and NUS.
With a love of tech and a flair for code, I am interested in developing experiences for the new age of technology. While I love tinkering with tech, I am also quite adept at weaving words into poetry. A couple of my poems have been published in anthologies by the British Council!

Research and development on a contract management platform with AI features including chatting with contracts, autofill forms, comparing drafts, and risk analysis using LLMs with LangChain, RAGFlow, FastAPI, and React. Previously worked on an automated video editing pipeline using state-of-the-art AI/ML for multi-language short-form content.

Built a Flask-based webapp providing investment advice based on ChatGPT's analysis of stocks and financial indicators. Collaborated with a distributed team across Singapore and China.

Used Palantir's Foundry platform for cloud-based big data analysis on high-volume trade datasets to generate Market Risk insights. Primary owner of a code repository serving as interface between data pipeline and visualization dashboards.
